The applications for SCHMIDT Servo Press Systems range from high-precision assembly to robust pressing operations of up to 100 kN / 33,700 lbsf with positioning accuracy as close as 0.01 mm / 0.0004” without hard stops. This is made possible through a patented dynamic bending compensation. Sensitive, force-controlled ram displacement prevents the specified press force from being exceeded which allows reliable force-controlled assembly operations.

All modules can be operated independent from each other for multiple operations with one control system without additional hardware. The dual-channel configuration of the safety circuit in the module separates the converter from the drive so that the axis can be easily and safely released for the specific application, i.e. the use of integrated light curtains.
